Short answer
- We found no shared scrub sizing standard: each brand, and sometimes each fit type, has its own chart.
- A Cherokee UK chart lists chest 38–40 in for M and calls its sizes very generous.
- A Grey's Anatomy Kim chart lists chest 91–97 cm for M, so the same letter can mean different measurements.
- We could not load the FIGS or Cherokee size-guide pages this session, so we link them rather than guess.
- Only use charts on the brand's own domain or a known retailer; hacked pages and lookalike shops rank for size-chart searches.

There is no single scrub size chart. Each brand publishes its own, some brands size by fit type, and many charts are images that are hard to copy. Below are the measurements we could actually read on brand or retailer pages on 23 October 2026, with links to the charts we could not read, so you can check the source yourself.
We have not filled any gaps with estimates. Where a cell says "not read", that is because the page did not load for us or showed its chart only as an image.
Where to find each brand's size chart
Start with the brand's own website. Retailers often copy charts, but the copy can be old or for a different region.
| Brand | Where the chart lives | What we could read on 23 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| FIGS | wearfigs.com/pages/size-guide | Not read (page did not load for us). A FIGS France product page says one men's top is "Classic fit. Runs true to size." in XS–2XL. |
| Cherokee | cherokeeuniforms.com/size-charts.html | Not read on the brand site. A UK chart hosted by the University of Liverpool is transcribed below. |
| Barco Grey's Anatomy | Brand site not checked | Kim top and pants chart (cm) on a Greek retailer, transcribed below. |
| Healing Hands | Brand site not checked | Size range and inseams only; no body measurements on the pages we read. |
| Jaanuu | Brand site not checked | Garment measurements for one top on a reseller page. |
| Dickies | Brand site not checked | The retailer offers a "Dickies Size Chart" download we could not read. |
| WonderWink, Landau | Not checked this session | Nothing transcribed. |
If you need FIGS or Cherokee numbers, open the brand's own size guide in your browser. Type the domain yourself rather than following a search result (see the warning further down).
Cherokee: sizes follow the fit type, not the collection
Cherokee's charts are organized by fit type. A reseller help page lists these:
- Women's: Contemporary, Modern Classic, Traditional and Maternity
- Men's: Modern and Traditional
- Unisex: Modern and Traditional
The same page explains that two tops from one collection can fit differently if they belong to different fit types. Each fit type has its own chart, and on that page the charts are images.
A Cherokee UK chart you can read as text
The University of Liverpool's School of Medicine publishes a Cherokee size chart in a welcome pack for students. It gives chest and waist ranges in both units, plus an outside-leg length in inches. It does not give hip measurements or say which fit type it covers.
| Size | Chest (in) | Chest (cm) | Waist (in) | Waist (cm) | Outside leg (in) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 30–32 | 75–80 | 26–28 | 65–70 | 41 |
| S | 34–36 | 85–90 | 30–32 | 75–80 | 42 |
| M | 38–40 | 95–100 | 34–36 | 85–90 | 43.5 |
| L | 42–44 | 105–110 | 38–40 | 95–100 | 43.5 |
| XL | 46–48 | 115–120 | 42–44 | 105–110 | 44 |
| 2XL | 50–52 | 125–130 | 46–48 | 115–120 | 45 |
| 3XL | 54–58 | 135–140 | 50–52 | 125–130 | 45.5 |
Two things stand out. The chart says sizes are approximate and "very generously sized". It also leaves gaps: a 37 in chest falls between S (34–36) and M (38–40).
We also found a "Cherokee Size Guide" PDF from a UK veterinary supplier. Its rows list nine measurement ranges against ten sizes, so the values cannot be matched to sizes with confidence. We have not reproduced it.
Grey's Anatomy by Barco: the Kim chart
Medi-shop, a Greek retailer, shows the same chart on the Kim GRST001 top and the Kim GRSP500 pants. The pants page gives the units as centimeters. The third row is labelled "circumference" and the page does not say where it is measured; it is most likely the hip, but treat that as our reading, not the retailer's.
| Size | Chest (cm) | Waist (cm) | "Circumference" (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XXS | 74–76 | 55–57 | 80–83 |
| XS | 79–81 | 60–65 | 85–90 |
| S | 84–89 | 65–70 | 90–95 |
| M | 91–97 | 72–78 | 98–103 |
| L | 99–104 | 80–84 | 105–111 |
| XL | 107–112 | 88–93 | 113–118 |
| XXL | 114–122 | 95–103 | 121–128 |
The top's back length from the neckline is listed as 66 cm. The pants page lists a crotch length of 79 cm but no petite or tall options. Both pages say the fabric is 74% polyester, 23% rayon and 3% spandex, washable at 30°C.
Jaanuu: garment measurements, not body measurements
A reseller page for the Jaanuu W30003 top gives a chart in inches. These are measurements of the garment, not of your body.
| Size | Body length, front (in) | Chest width laid flat (in) |
|---|---|---|
| XXS | 24 3/4 | 16 3/4 |
| XS | 25 1/4 | 17 3/4 |
| S | 25 3/4 | 18 3/4 |
| M | 26 1/4 | 19 3/4 |
| L | 26 3/4 | 21 1/4 |
| XL | 27 1/4 | 22 1/4 |
Worked example. A chest width laid flat measures across the front only. Double it to get the garment's full circumference: a size M at 19 3/4 in is about 39.5 in all the way round. Compare that with a top you already own, measured the same way. It is not the same as your body chest measurement, because a garment needs ease to move in, and stretch fabric changes how much ease you need. Our fabric blends guide explains what spandex adds.
Petite, regular and tall scrub pants: inseams we could read
Inseam is where brand charts are hardest to find. These are the only figures we could read, and one listing does not add up.
| Pant | Petite | Regular | Tall | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Healing Hands Tori 9133 | 28.5 in | 30.5 in | 32.5 in | Walmart listing (size not stated) |
| Healing Hands Tori yoga waistband pant | 28.5 in | 30.5 in | 33.5 in | Rush Order Tees (size S) |
| Grey's Anatomy Impact jogger | 28.5 in | 26.5 in | 30.5 in | Walmart listing |
Two listings for what appears to be the same Healing Hands pant agree on petite and regular but differ by an inch on tall. The Grey's Anatomy jogger listing shows petite as longer than regular, which looks like an error. Treat third-party inseam figures as a starting point and confirm on the brand's page or the garment label.
Size ranges seen on product pages
Not every style comes in every size. These ranges were listed on the pages above on 23 October 2026.
| Style | Sizes listed |
|---|---|
| FIGS men's Stratton henley | XS–2XL |
| Grey's Anatomy Kim top | XXS–XXL in the chart; XXS–XL in the size selector |
| Healing Hands Purple Label 2167 Jane top | XXS–5XL (the Australian retailer notes US 5XL is AU 6XL) |
| Jaanuu W30003 | XXS–XL |
| Dickies 81906 men's top | XS–XXL |
If you sit at either end of a brand's range, check the specific style before you fall for it. For comparing a US chart with a UK or European one, see UK vs US scrub sizes.
Watch out for fake size-chart pages and lookalike shops
Searches for brand size charts often return pages on hacked domains. In our research we saw "size chart" pages hosted on subfolders of university and research-institute domains that have nothing to do with scrubs. We also saw a lookalike FIGS shop on an unrelated domain ending in .it.com. We are not linking to any of them.
Pages like these can carry wrong or copied numbers, and a lookalike shop is a phishing risk for your card details. Practical habits:
- Type the brand's domain yourself, or use a retailer you already know.
- Check that the domain in the address bar is the brand's real one before you enter card details.
- Be wary of a size chart on a site that has no other connection to clothing.
How to measure before you compare charts
Use a soft tape measure and the same method each time.
- Chest or bust: around the fullest part, tape level.
- Waist: around your natural waist.
- Hip: around the fullest part of your hips.
- Inseam: from the crotch seam to where you want the hem, on pants that fit.
Worked example. Say your chest is 94 cm (about 37 in) and your waist is 76 cm (about 30 in).
- Grey's Anatomy Kim chart: chest 94 cm sits in M (91–97); waist 76 cm sits in M (72–78). Both point to M.
- Cherokee UK chart: chest 37 in falls in the gap between S (34–36) and M (38–40); waist 30 in sits in S (30–32). This chart is labelled generously sized, so the smaller size may be worth trying, but only a try-on or the brand's fit notes will settle it.
That is why we show charts as data and do not recommend a size. Washing can also change fit; see how to wash scrubs for what the guidance says about temperatures.
What to check before you act
- Open the size chart on the brand's own domain and note the fit type and date.
- Check whether the chart gives body or garment measurements.
- Measure yourself in both inches and centimeters if you are comparing a US and a non-US chart.
- Confirm inseam lengths on the brand page or label, not a marketplace listing.
- Check the return and exchange policy before ordering several sizes.
- If your employer issues uniforms, ask which brand and sizing they use before buying your own.
Questions people ask
Do all scrub brands use the same sizes?
No. Each brand publishes its own chart, and Cherokee sizes by fit type rather than by collection. A medium in one brand can cover different chest and waist ranges from a medium in another.
Where can I find the FIGS size chart?
Use the size guide on the wearfigs.com domain. We could not load it this session, so we have not copied any FIGS measurements. One FIGS product page we read said the style runs true to size.
What are Cherokee fit types?
Cherokee groups women's styles into Contemporary, Modern Classic, Traditional and Maternity, and men's and unisex styles into Modern and Traditional. Each fit type has its own size chart.
Are scrub size charts body or garment measurements?
It varies. The Cherokee UK and Grey's Anatomy Kim charts give body ranges, while one Jaanuu chart we read gives garment measurements such as chest width laid flat.
Are petite and tall scrub pants the same across brands?
No. Two retailer listings for the same Healing Hands pant gave the same petite and regular inseams but different tall inseams, so check the brand's own page.
